[Update]
Newer versions of Vifm have fixed this issue. However, the slackbuild on slackbuilds.org is still the older version (0.5) so you'll need to grab the source from vifm.sourceforge.net/ .

While trying to figure out why vifm would crash with SIGSEGV, and how to fix it I came across those two pages. (Using the patch at the first link, now vifm will start).
Anyone else finding some problems with ncurses programs on 13.37?
<Edit> Just found
this. So I guess it is already known.
<Edit2> If anyone wants to...
Using the patch from the first link, ncurses58.patch.
From a console type...
Code:
sed 's_vifm-pkgbuild/src/vifm-0.5/src_src_g' ncurses58.patch > vifm.patch
Then add "patch -p0 < $CWD/vifm.patch" to 13.1's vifm.SlackBuild at slackbuilds.org at line 21.
