I have problems with mysql. I am usin slackware and i cannnot start mysql because of not being any files on computer like /var/run/mysql/mysql.pid
At the start mysql tries to run but then gives error and stoped because of tje file i have written.
Ps : A year ago Ý installed the mysql and run it with no problems.
i have tried everytthing but there is nothing happens. at start mysql begin to run but after a while gives an error and says to me that mysql stopped because of /var/run/mysql/mysql.pid file but there is no /var/run/mysql/... files.
