Mozilla slackware package (+Xft - Freetype) and printing

I have the classic problem that mozilla doesn't print anything besides English content.

I know Xprint/Wprint but i don't like them, so i searched for other solutions.

I know of
I have done it but it works with a freetype enabled mozilla.

The mozilla package shipped with slackware is not.
about:buildconfig mentions "--disable-freetype2 --enable-xft"
I compiled it myself enabling freetype but every document i have read mentions that
using freetype is not good and everybody should use Xft instead.

My prime concern is Greek Content, but i guess the solution is the same for every encoding.
I have Greek fonts installed. I have put the path in /etc/fonts/local.conf so that fontconfig finds
them, and every Xft application (including Mozilla) finds them. I see Greek pages perfectly but
printing doesn't work.

Does anyone know a solution ?

Thank you for your time.
