No problem, that's just fine

Open up your /etc/X11/XF86Config file and locate the section for your mouse, add this to the bottom of it:
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4,5"

Save that file, exit your X server, and log back in (restart the X server if you are starting in a GUI).

Cool

MasterC, I've seen it "4,5" and "4 5"; will either way work (for future reference)?

Good question, and..
**MasterC looks around to make sure no one is watching...

I'm having a problem with it currently, and I'm gonna see if that's exactly what it is. For now, I'd say go with:
4 5
Since that's working on my slack box.

Thanks again, and I will let you know what I find out about the 4,5... That very well might be my problem... Wouldn't that be nice!

SSH'd in, and I'm betting a thousand to 1 that is what my problem was. Can't bring up X until I get home to verify for sure, but that's probably it... I should be smacked several times for missing that, and especially for providing it to n00bs.

Thanks a billion!
