Missing wireless controller

I use Slackware 14 on a Panasonic CF-29 "Toughbook." It worked for a few months, but I had a power failure during system update and now my wireless internet doesn't work. Invoking lspci -v fails to identify and wireless controller.

Modem: Intel Corporation 82801DBDBLDBM
Network controller: Inter Corporation PRO/Wireless 2200BG
Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+

...but no wireless controller. Remember, I have used wireless on this machine in the past! What could be the problem?

From your lspci output --

First line: Modem
Second line: Wireless
Third line: Wired

Please check again.

Okay, I'm an idiot. Thank you.

The kernel driver listed for that network controller is ipw2200, but under lsmod, ipw2200 shows up as used by: 0
