Microlinux keyboard mapping problem tip

I know Niki looks in here so here goes. Finished the install of desktop14.1-32bit on an older LG laptop. After boot, the keyboard mapping has the Fn+number keys active. Same problem on another older Sony Vaio install.

Solution: Fn+Ctrl+Num held simultaneously disables the Fn lock and restores normal function of the keys.

In the future, MLED has its own LQ forum now and it might be best to use it instead.

MLED has its own forum indeed, as pointed out. That being said, my best guess would be to take a peek in /etc/lxdm/lxdm.conf and set numlock=1 to numlock=0.

Hope that helps,

Niki
