Hello, folks. For the last 3 days I've tried to download slackware64-current-install-dvd.iso from slackware.nl and slackware.uk using wget/aria2/firefox/curl/lftp for 5 or 6 times. Every time download completes I find md5sum mismatch with what represented on server. It's pain because download speed is very disappointing (around 100 kbps in average). It's defenetly not a hardware problem. I double checked. Is there any reliable way to download current iso as quick as possible and without such strange md5 sum mismatches?
That is odd, I downloaded the install DVD Dec 15, md5sum was ok.
I just downloaded these:
8fdf6695b0c0de32b887cabbed60eb39 slackware64-current-mini-install.iso
441b8ad25b1cc9bc19ad3d6c4ab8a7bb slackware64-current-install-dvd.iso
Dated Dec 18 21:18
Both are showing correct md5sum
As for speed, .nl site is bit slow at times, but the .uk site is often very fast (atm 20 Mib/s for me)
Download speed from slackware.uk is 10-30 kbps. Unfortunately, slackware servers is the slowest I've seen in my linux user life . I usually download debian and arch isos with up to 10 mbps speed. Is there any other servers with current iso? I haven't found any in google.
FWIW both sites, slackware.nl (bear.alienbase.nl) and slackware.uk, here saturate my gigabit fiber internet connection when I download the current iso with wget

Where do you live? These two servers are located in Europe, speeds for european, asian and australian users have reportedly been fine. US citizens sometimes seem to have issues.
Mini ISO's (containing only the installer and meant for network/internet installs so you can pick your own fast package mirror): http://ponce.cc/slackware/iso/

Another option is to just mirror -current using Alien Bob's mirror-slackware-current.sh script, which will allow you to generate an updated ISO every time there's an update to -current pushed.
I have my scripts update every morning at like 4am, but I don't have mine generate an ISO every time because I rarely need an ISO. When I do, I'll generate one that specific time.
