LXC/LXD under Slackware 15.0

LXC is now part of the standard Slackware 15.0 distribution. LXD used to be a Slackbuilds package for 14.2, but it is not available for 15.0. And there is no LXD in the standard Slackware 15.0 distribution, as far as I can tell.

Can anybody explain what the deal is with this? Is it that LXD is now obsolete?

LXD is no more, try Incus instead.

https://linuxcontainers.org/incus/introduction/

Code:
The Incus project was created by Aleksa Sarai as a community driven alternative to Canonical's LXD.
Today, it's led and maintained by much of the same people that once created LXD.
