Logs


I'm running Slackware 10 and was wondering what logs do you check on a regular basis to make sure there are no intrusions on your system. I have a VNCServer and SSH Server running all the time and was wondering what would check to make sure there are no attempted breakins on those services or anything in general.

maybe u should consider running
"tripwire"

and
for logins check out
/var/log/wtmp
and
/var/run/utmp
files

u cannot read them
i have a program to read them
get them from my site masand.sourceforge.net
