Linux networking GUI software

I've never networked my computers, but I want to attempt this now that I have a wireless router, desktop, and laptop with a wireless card. What GUI Linux software could I use to configure this?

Under Slackware, "netconfig" can be used to configure your network settings. It works in text-mode, but uses ncurses, so it's equivalent to a GUI tool.

To be honest there aren't a lot of GUI tools, I wouldn't expect them to exist. Setting up networking in the command line isn't thant hard, and gives you lots of power. I'd give that a try.
