I don't really want to contribute to this, but forum moderation is hardly "cancel culture". My take is that Procenko is bringing an entitled and rude attitude, but that doesn't justify prejudices_mars dropping offensive slurs. Both not cool from my chair.

I'm not arguing that neither Procenko nor prejudices_mars were not offensive. I am arguing and following my own advice by not reporting and bothering mods and risking a slippery slope of censorship, not to mention limiting examples that teach mature gentlemanly responses by how ineffective, actually counterproductive, such childish behaviour is. Maybe it is mainly because I'm born in the US but I concur with Benjamin Franklin that Freedom of Speech is THE most fundamental right from which all other rights are made possible. Not a trivial pursuit.

BTW for anyone who hasn't ever used this board's "Ignore" button, I did as I said I would do and put Procenko on my Ignore list which incidentally now numbers only 5 individuals in almost 20 years here, I still see THAT Procenko has posted but none of his posts.
