Lilo configuration

Probably a very noob question, but presently when I boot my pc it stops at the lilo boot screen and asks which os to load. The issue is that I only have 1 os installed, so how can I make it automatically load up that os without have to hit enter every time.

in /etc/lilo.conf set your default boot under
default="linux"
then change timeout to 0 or 10
then save, exit

then run
lilo
as root

I haven't had a chance to try yet, but It makes lots of sense... it's gonna take a lot of getting used to for me to get out the windows mindset. So far, linux seems to be a very good choice for an os.

it is, the only honest downside is running games, don't shoot me, but the only microsnot products i have are for my XboX (can't believe i addmitted that much) if you run into problems, most google searches will have at least one link on linuxquestions! keep pluggin away.
