LILO and SWAP?

I have two hd's the slave hd is my slack hd, and the master is a Windows XP hd.
I have made the slack hd boot before the windows hd and it all works like clockwork.
But I want to be able to boot the windows hd from LILO, is that possible?

I also need to know how I can be sure if my swap partition is working.
I made a partiton with the swap hex thingy, anyways the partition table printed that I had a swap partition. But Im not sure if I pressed "Add Swap" at the "setup" screen...

Yes you can boot windows from Lilo, your lilo.conf has have the following lines to be able to load windows

other=/dev/hda1
label=windows

As for checking for swap run the "free" command from a terminal and it should look rougly like below

total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 515480 261600 253880 0 30540 110144
-/+ buffers/cache: 120916 394564
Swap: 1060912 0 1060912

If you have a swap partition, the Swap line should show.
