libraries


i want to learn which packages use which libraries. i do not want to install useless things.
when we want to install a disturbation of linux we load on computer packages not knowing.
shortly i want to learn usage of all basic slackware packages and which needs which ones.
sorry for my bad english.

You can see a very good example of minimal installation on: http://amigolinux.org/docs/minstall/index.htm which is AmigoLinux's official homepage (A very small distribution based on Slackware).

If you want to see the specific dependence of a specific file use the ldd command.
