libldap has been removed from aaa_libraries as noted in the Changelog posted April 11, 2022. This breaks the currently installed OpenVAS on my system.
Two questions:
1. Is the removal of libldap part of the move to PAM and elogin?
2. If yes, then can the Slackware64-Current install be configured to allow PAM, NSS and ldap to play nicely?
You just need to recompile your openvas package. The aaa_libraries package contains old libraries that may be used by applications still. None of the Slackware's own packages need these libraries, it is a gesture toward people who do not want to keep compiling their 3rd-party software.
Removing libldap from aaa_libraries has nothing to do with PAM or elogind, it's just cleaning out very old libraries.
