I think here my startup log may be required (i dont know much about this yet) because im sure i saw some discrepencies between the original boot pattern and now.

What happened yesterday was i went and i changed the Icon effect "to gray". There it just went weird, i restarted and went to bed thinking a reboot would fix it, but it didnt, and i am lost. I cant type in the konsole either, all i get is gray blocks where characters should be.

Edit: After a while i just decided to create a new user, works fine now.

Instead of creating a new user, you could remove (or better move them to another place) your old kde settings so the defaults will be recreated for your user. I think the settings are located under /home/user/.kde (the . at the beggining means it's a hidden file, you can see it with ls -a).
