KDE updated to Alien's Lastst KDE Packages

I updated my KDE to Alien's packages from one of the mirrors. I followed his README to update the system. Now, KDE system does not recognize any removable devices connected to my system. I checked and udisks works just fine. Thunar notices and works. I can mount and umount using udisks using command line. I even tried creating a new user and logging in with it for clean configiration. So far nothing worked.

My system Slackware 14.1
KDE 4.12.5

Could you be a little more specific? What applications do not notice the removable devices? Is there a widget or particular application you're talking about here?

So far, Any KDE application (be it konquare, or wiglet device manager) recognizes removable devices.

Go to the KDE search bar (it's in the bottom of my KDE users pop up thingy when I click on the KDE button) and type in "Device Viewer".
Does the KDE Device viewer see the removable devices?
BTW, I don't have anything called "wiglet device manager" for this user. Is that spelled correctly?
