KDE dual monitor Folder Settings

I'm trying to use KDE regularly now, and it's not proving as simple as I first thought. Current problem ...

I have 2 monitors. The main (left) monitor is set to Folder layout. If I set the right monitor also to folder layout I see all the same icons on both monitors and dragging from one screen to the other doesn't make sense. If the right monitor is not set to folder layout (is set as Default Desktop), I can't drag icons from left to right.

I want to be able to drag icons from left to right, but not have the right monitor an image of the left/main monitor. This seems like it should be default behavior.

What can I do to fix this?

Surely someone uses dual-monitors on Slackware/KDE?

Problems solved. I can drag things. Don't know what that issue was. I have the main monitor set to Folder mode, which shows my desktop a la Windows. The 2nd monitor, also in Folder mode, now shows files and folders in my HOME directory. Not sure what changed or why, but everything is working.

btw - I now have 4 monitor running using 2 NVIDIA cards and configured as separate X-windows using the nvidia-settings utility. That all seems to work just fine.
