Issues Steam on 14.1

Hello All,
I am trying to get steam up and running on my gaming PC. I've got
- Slackware 14.1 64 bit
- AMD 7950

So I
1) Installed Alienbobs Multilib
2) Installed proprietary AMD drivers (following slackdocs guide)
3) Downloaded and installed Alienbobs Steam client for 14.1

When I run steam i get the following output
Code:
Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(steam)/version(1416617579)
libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast
libGL error: Try again with LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose for more details.

PulseAudio connect failed (used only for Mic Volume Control) with error: Access denied
I assume I need to install the 32bit AMD opengl bits, but I'm not sure how to do this?

There is also an error about pulse audio and NSS but in Alienbobs Steam 14.1 README it says I don't need additional deps?

Any help would be great

Look at the following and see if it is what is causing your problem.

I believe if you select it to make the package instead of installing directly, it won't generate the 32bit libraries needed.

Hmm, that's annoying. I reinstalled the AMD drivers without creating a slackware package and the opengl related errors have gone away. I still get the NSS and PulseAudio messages, but steam seems to be working.

I'm downloading CounterStrike now so we'll see how we go.

Thanks!
