Issues starting Tor

Slackware 14.2 I just recently installed tor from Slackbuilds. It seemed like everything was working yesterday. I havent made changes to my computer since then except install libevent, but now when I try to start tor I get this error:

Code:
Raising maximum number of filedescriptors (ulimit -n) to 32768...
Starting Tor...
/usr/bin/tor: symbol lookup error: /usr/bin/tor: undefined symbol: evutil_secure_rng_set_urandom_device_file
I would appreciate it if someone can point me in the right direction to research and resolve this error.

Thanks

Hey willysr,

Libevent is already installed. Heres confirmation

Code:
Executing install script for libevent-2.0.10-x86_64-1_SBo.tgz.
Package libevent-2.0.10-x86_64-1_SBo.tgz installed.

you have installed a different version of libevent from the one that is already in Slackware 14.2 (libevent-2.0.22-x86_64-1).

also, you are using the wrong SBo repository, as there's no libevent in the 14.2 one.

Make sure you reinstall the original from your favorite Slackware mirror.
