Is there a Slackware method or app for sending an email as a fax?

Hello:

I need to send a fax to my doctor but I don't have a fax machine.

Is there a way to accomplish this using Slackware 13.37?

Thanks,

Kind regards.

Thanks repo.

Are either of these 'newbie-certified'?

I can't say, for sure. A quick perusal of their tos doesn't indicate whether country of origin or destination matters. It requires adherence to US Communications laws, etc.

I'm in Canada, and it's always worked for me - I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty certain I've sent to/from the UK in the past 16 months.

[edit]oops, as I revisit the site, I realize that there's no option for country code, so apparently it will only work in North America.

mea culpa if anyone has been led astray...

cheers,

cheers,
Thanks mrclisdue.

I think that FAXAGE is what I am looking for - I don't want to use my modem to send or receive faxes so, this looks like it is my answer.

Thanks to all for your time & advice.

Marking as SOLVED.
