ip-up script

Hi,

Im having trouble executing a command once ppp-dialer has established a connection. I can't seem to get ip-up and ip-down to work.

This is the command as-is that is in the /etc/ppp/ip-up file:

/usr/bin/python /etc/ipcheck/ipcheck.py -l -i ppp0 kristijan ****** kristijan.homeip.net

and the same thing in /etc/ppp/ip-down

/usr/sbin/ppp-on

Nothing seems to be working for me.

By the way, all that the command does is update my account on dyndns.org, if anyone else use's dyndns.org, can you please tell me what other ways you update your account.

Regards
Kristijan

Obvious solution: check that Python is installed on your Slackware system.

Not-so-obvious solution: are these scripts (Python or otherwise) were written for Slackware. If they were created on a Red Hat system, for instance, it's highly possible that the Slackware file layout is throwing the scripts off-course.

That's all I can think of... Sorry...

Hope this helps!
