Question intel 82845 i915 : No such device

Hello Everyone,

When i try to do X -configure on slackware-current 32bit on intel 82845g
gpu. I can see i915 : No such device when running X -configure. And while the system logs on it looks like it's using vesa and not the "intel" driver. There is also a lot of lag and a lot of video tearing.

Try running xorgsetup rather than just X -configure as root.
