Problem I encounterd during the installation

To make it clear:

1) what directory should i save the downloaded wine-0.9.10-i486-S10.2.tgz?
2) what directory should i initial installpkg wine-0.9.10-i486-S10.2.tgz?


What this means?

I do have wine command but every time I put the startcract cd and initial "wine setup.exe" nothings happend.

Try wineX or winex setup.exe.

Did you test your wine installation for example running winemine?

1 anywhere, you can even delete it after installing it
2 no need to worry about that, installpkg takes care of all

what is the output of ls /var/log/packages/wine* ? mine is var/log/packages/wine-0.9.9-i486-S10.2

test it: cd /home/YOURUSERNAME/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32
wine notepad.exe

I made a post about Starcraft, so i'll try no to crosspost threads, it seems you first need to have a clean and working wine install before trying SC, hope it helps

does WINE support for FC5 and also I had already install YUM will they CRASH if install BOTH (Wine + YUM).

Sounds like a corrupted download or your filesystem hit max capacity while downloading. What is the output of the df command?

Maybe Ill try this to a newly installed slack in that way I will follow all your instruction. Thank you for your patience guyz. I will post again if ever i encounter a problem.
