Installed latest jdk from slackbuilds, but browser can't see it in plugins

It isn't seen by Seamonkey and now I have no java for my browser.

The slackbuild says that the plugin isn't activated by default anymore.

So...how does one activate it? Please, don't go telling me about the security trouble it may give me...I know about it, thanks. I just want it to work again in my Seamonkey browser.

Thanks.

I got it figured out folks. I placed a copy of /usr/lib/java/i386/libnpjp2.so into /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins and voila, it worked.

Pass EXPLOIT_ME=YES to the SlackBuild and the plugin will be added to the package.

Thanks very much! I was just about to start the thread again because my 'fix' didn't work, heh. I'll give this a try.

It's actually better to place a symlink in the browsers plugin folder. Saves space on your filesystem by not have multiple copies of the same file. That's how I have my various browsers set up with Adobe Flashplayer.
