Install Problems on HP NetServer LC 2000r
I've got two HP NetServer LC 2000rs at work. For those who don't know, they're dual 900MHz Pentium III machines, 512MB each (actually, one of them has 640MB), and 4x 36.4GB disks each. One of them runs Windows 2000 Server, which I had no problem installing Windows to. The other, which I intend to install Slackware 10.2, I can't get cfdisk to run correctly on. The disks are configuired with two arrays, the first being just the first disk, and the second being the other three disks in RAID 0 (striping, no parity) configuration. All configuration is done in the NetServer's built-in hardware RAID configuration. Anyway, I've tried booting with scsi.s, scsi2.s, scsi3.s, adaptec.s and raid.s, and cfdisk will only open the disks in read-only mode, and the partition table is non-existant (which probably happened when I "initialized" the disks). When I create a new partition table, it only shows ~664MB worth of disk space avaliable for partitioning.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to actually try any of your suggestions until Wednesday (02/15), because that's the next time I'll be able to go back in (I spend Tuesdays and Thursdays at college).
