Question How to mount without root privileges?

Topic says it all.

I'm trying to watch a VCD/SVCD/DVD with a ordinary user account, but I can't mount the device since I'm not having root privleges. Is there any workaround for that? I mean, I should be able to watch the contents of a CD-ROM without root access :P

I'm trying to get my mplayer gui to work as it should, if anyone should wonder why I would want to do that... And how am I supposed to watch a VCD/SVCD or DVD without mount privileges?

Thanks for any help
