how to make another bootdisk to boot into system

hi... i just installed 10.2.. i have opted to install lilo to superblock anduse ntloader to dualboot.

i did create a bootdisk only to realise the diskette is corrupted when i tried to boot into the system on the reboot...

so is there any other way i can get back to my system? i only have my windows now... is there a way to remake my system's bootdisk?

thx in advance...

Hi,

Just use the install cd1 to boot the system.

Then;
Code:
#mkdir /tmproot                #create a mount point
#mount /dev/hda1 /tmproot      #mount your device
#chroot /tmproot               #change to your sys
#cd /tmproot/etc
#cp lilo.conf lilo.conf-backup #backup old
#vi lilo.conf #edit the lilo to reflect boot
#lilo -v -t -b /dev/hda        #test lilo.conf
#lilo -v -b /dev/hda           #write the lilo mbr
#cntrl-alt-del                 #reboot
Once you have your system reboot then;

Code:
#makebootdisk #make sure to use a good diskette
Another way would be to use the pkgtool script and rerun setup install choices.

gwsandwik, this way you will install lilo to mbr what the boolim doesn't want.
I think, you can boot Slackware CD1, run setup and run lilo installation again. Then insert good diskette to create a bootdisk.
