How to keep slackpkg to remove SlackBuilds packages installed before installing sbopkg?

Hey everyone!

I'm still brand new to Slackware, and I have a small question. I installed a few SlackBuilds packages before installing sbopkg, so if I run clean-system, those packages will be removed.

Is there any way to add these packages into the sbopkg ecosystem so they won't get removed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I'd suggest installing slackpkg+ and making use of greylist at /etc/slackpkg/greylist

Anything you add to this greylist will show up when using clean-system but will not be selected for removal. Alternatively you could blacklist them in /etc/slackpkg/blacklist and they won't be visible by slackpkg at all.

slackpkg+ is probably a bit much unless you want to maintain multilib or some other 3rd-party repo.

Instead, you can simply uncomment the [0-9]+_SBo tag in /etc/slackpkg/blacklist and slackpkg will ignore any SBo packages when clean-system is ran. If you install stuff from Alien Bob, I'd recommend uncommenting the [0-9]+_alien tag as well.

Right, I forget that not everybody runs multilib.
