how to install kernel-modules

when i attempted to install kernel-modules from slackare 2nd cd i'm getting package does not end in .tgz. how would i go about installing this.

Well, you should enter the full package name not just 'kernel-modules'. If you write 'kernel-modules' in your Konsole (or whatever terminal you use) and press TAB make sure the package ends exactly in '.tgz' because in there you have 3 file names that start with 'kernel-modules' and end in 3 different extensions... 1 is ending in '.txt' , the 2nd in '.tgz' and 3rd in '.asc' !
