How to install Firefox Add-Ons without internet connection?

Hi,

Does anyone know how to install Firefox Add-Ons without an Internet connection? I need to install Firebug on a Slackware 13 machine that's not connected to Internet

The version of Firefox is 3.5.2

Many thanks!

Or just drag 'n drop the xpi file to your add-on manager.

Actually, you can drop the xpi files anywhere onto the browser window, at least this has been my experience. The addon-manager window will appear, asking if you want to install the thing.
