How do I move lilo over to other HD?

Ive got 2 HDs, both with slack on them. I use Lilo on one to boot them. If I want to remove the HD that has Lilo on its MBR how do I boot the other drive? Can I use pkgtool and setup lilo on the remaining HD? Thanks for any help.

which are you going to remove hda or hdb. i assume hda from your question. after removing it are you going to leave only one hd and move it up as master thus becoming hda? The most surefire way may be to just use your install cd after you are done and boot your root partition and then reinstall lilo to the mbr at that point. All numbering schemes you use are going to be problematic.

Yes, thats exacty what I want to do. What problems would arise from that?

Well, you're going to have to change lilo obviously. You are also going to have to edit your /etc/fstab table while your booted from the cd.....
