Pat,
May many cases of virtual beer find your doorstep!! (And to all the Slackware Team past and present and users)
You've brought so much good to so many!
Thank you to the Slackware Community, Patrick, AlienBob, Rob, all the development teams and LQ members that helped me get up and running, I've loved every broken library and reinstall. Slackware7 was my first linux distro, I had no clue. Fascinated by windows95 & its blue screen of death made me wonder & wander. This yr. I started Linux distro hopping after my 15yr old builds died forcing me into new unfamiliar hardware that made it difficult to install Slackware w/ Grub as I was used to Lilo & had no clue nvme, re: uefi & ms secure boot. It is true that if you run w/ Slackware you learn Linux & can run with any distro I'm learning Grub now. I'm just an average computer user.
Happy Birthday Slackware and many more!
