gucharmap & unicode-ucd

From the Current64 Fri Mar 22 22:57:06 UTC 2024 Changelog:
Quote:
l/unicode-ucd-15.1.0-noarch-1.txz: Added.
153MB installed... oh well. Needed by gucharmap.
xap/gucharmap-15.1.3-x86_64-1.txz: Upgraded.
Well, I run the new gucharmap successfully *without* unicode-ucd and see no improvements when running it *with* unicode-ucd ...

unicode-ucd is listed as a build-time dependency for gucharmap on Arch package webpage, so that explains why there's no difference if unicode-ucd is installed or not when running gucharmap...

Hmmm, maybe if there's not much else that can make use of unicode-ucd, it should get shuffled off to /extra?

According to Arch, only ibus and unicode-emoji also depend on unicode-ucd (for building them). As an aside, I wonder if their maintainer ever sleeps.
