add yourself to the cdrom and the disk group using kuser or something else.
that should fix it.

As root, open up /etc/group in your favorite text editor. Add the users to the right groups. This might give you an idea what things should look like.
Code:
root::0:root
bin::1:root,bin,daemon
daemon::2:root,bin,daemon
sys::3:root,bin,adm
adm::4:root,adm,daemon
tty::5:
disk::6:root,adm,shilo,joe,lori,test
lp::7:lp
mem::8:
kmem::9:
wheel::10:root,shilo
floppy::11:root
mail::12:mail
news::13:news
uucp::14:uucp
man::15:
audio::17:shilo,joe,lori,test
video::18:shilo,joe,lori,test
cdrom::19:shilo,joe,lori,test
games::20:
slocate::21:
utmp::22:
smmsp::25:smmsp
mysql::27:
rpc::32:
sshd::33:sshd
gdm::42:
shadow::43:
ftp::50:
pop::90:pop
nobody::98:nobody
nogroup::99:
users::100:
console::101:
music::102:shilo,joe,lori,test
scanner::103:shilo,joe,lori,test
messagebus:x:104:
haldaemon:x:105:
Your's will be a little different, but you get the idea.

Oh, and I usualy reboot after that. Don't know if you have to, but hey, I learned with Windows.

Nor is audio or video. Add them. That's how you make new groups.
