That hoedown I have to check.

I tried 3 or 4 chrome markdown editors (on chromium) and none of them worked.

And by the way, Atom works well.

This one just runs in the browser, nothing to install:

I seem to be too stupid to use it.
Like how should the editing start?
Drag and drop didn't work.

Copy and paste what you have in the left column.

Slackware comes with emacs as a standard package. There's an elisp package manager (ELP) that can get elisp packages for you. M-x package-list-packages

Get the "gh-md" package which uses the Github API to render a buffer for you. M-x gh-md-export-buffer will write the results into an html file that you can view in your favorite browser. markdown mode is also available via ELP.

You can also get gh-md from https://github.com/emacs-pe/gh-md.el but it's simpler to use the emacs package manager to install elisp bundles.

Here's a local alternative that doesn't require an internet connection to run:

- Install webkit, pywebkitgtk and Markdown from SBo
- Get and run this: https://github.com/davidbecker/slack...arkdown-editor

Ohh, this is useful! I don't have any of the issues turboscrew seems to have. Works excellently! Thanks!

Noscript?

In about.config javascript seems to be enabled.
I have adblocker, but disabling it didn't have any effect.

If the filename has extension .md then it acts as a viewer?
Still no idea about how to edit anything.

It loads just fine on Firefox here, so one of your extensions must be borking it.

Java seems to be disabled - needs updating (again!).

Also, could it affect that my Firefox is ESR?
On the other hand, my chromium is not... ;-)

I noticed that it doesn't bold or underline.

I use this:

I also playtested typora, and it's good if you want WYSIWIG.
