What to do about this? Its installed from the alienbob pkg for 14.2 and there are no deps available for it, as it shouldnt need any.

Hello,

What's the output of commands :
Code:
$ strings /home/t3h_bunneh/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steam-runtime/i386/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6|grep GLIBC

$ strings /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6|grep GLIBC
if /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6 includes the string GLIBC-3.4.20, you can try to :

1. replace libstdc++.so.6 from steam with /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6

2. delete (or rename) steam version of libstdc++.so.6

if this does not fixes the issue, retry to run the command below to see if there's another issue :
Code:
$ LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose /usr/bin/steam

I'm pretty sure you can also just remove it and it will use the system version. At least, that's the way it used to work. It's been a while since I've ran steam.

Thanks to Seb for tackling this while I was asleep
