from 2.6.10 to 2.6.12????

So what you're saying is.......if I want to go from 2.6.10 to 2.6.12 using patches, I have to use EVERY patch from here to there...right? Or can I just use the 2.6.12 patch and go from there ?
Will this take care of the kernel upgrade from kernel-2.6.10 to kernel-2.6.12 ? Using search, all I find is someone using every patch in between. That seems like a lot of work just to upgrade a kernel. To me, that's more work then upgrading from Slack 10.1 to Slack-current.

.........but that's just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions.........

Yes you've to apply every patch if you upgrade from some version to another, BUT also you can download the whole source of the kernel version you want (http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kern...2.6.12.tar.bz2) and that's all.
