i want to try a alternative to shitty xfree86 and i was pointed to

freedesktop.org

i saw teh screenshot and it just clicked - this is it. this is the way of linux. this is the future of linux *tears in my eyes*

but how do i install and run it under slackware 9.1

after searching the forums someone had linked to a slackware tarbar

i downloaded it and used pkgtool to install it. how do i run it ?
