I had Windows XP and Slackware 11.0 dual boot. Windows XP fail so i have to format it and reinstall, during that process Windows XP overwrote the MBR and i only had Windows XP to boot. A few hours ago i installed Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper and now i have grub boot loader with Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper and Windows XP boot choices.
Slackware 11.0 is still intact and i need help about what to write in grub menu.lst to boot Slackware 11.0.
I should write vmlinuz-2.4.33.3 if i rember correct, but don't worry i will check again.
Code:
root hd(0,4)
Edit: Hm, a little (i know, accident) mistake. It should be
Code:
root (hd0,4)
and i had to wrote exactly vmlinuz-int-2.4.33.3 but it depends from version of slack you get. You can see what you need to write in /boot/ directory. (This wasn't refering to you mixtr, i was just trying to help others how to solve the problem if they have the same :P )

Yeah, sloppy work on my part. I tend to assume everyone speaks the same language as me and know what I'm talking about and how to do the other half of the job. I'll take the blame on that one..
