eudev for programs with udev dependency?

I see that the next Slackware will feature eudev instead of udev, and I'm wondering what this means for programs that depends on udev? For example I have a commercial binary only program (f4analyse) that apparently requires udev 204 or higher. Would eudev be sufficient?

Hello,

According to the eudev github page, The current version (ie. (3.1.5) of eudev in slackware-current is "equal" to udev 220 :

Code:
configure.ac configure.ac: bump 3.1.5 = upstream 220
