eth0 dissapeared
for some strange reason i can't use the internet AGAIN. i checked the ifconfig settings and it shows no eth0. its just shows the lo details.
i then put my slax live cd in and decided to use that (it has always detected all hardware with no probs) this also could not detect eth0.
i must add all the lights are on
does anyone have any ideas

Open a terminal and type "dhcpcd" then try ifconfig again.
The DHCP daemon might not be starting when you boot up.

if it's not listed by " lspci ", maybe just a bad connection.
i don't know for a laptop, can you plug-out & -in the card ?
might help, might not....
