error in kdevelop while trying to load Qmake project.

When trying to load Qmake project in kdevelop it fails and write:
"Could not load project management plugin KDevQMakeManager"

and then:
"project importing plugin (KDevQMakeManager) does not support the IProjectFileManager interface."

no solution, just a suggestion, report this problem to the kdevelop team.
kdevelop4 is still beta, so your error reports may be welcome there

Yeah, it works:

$> export KDEDIRS=/usr/local:/usr
(I've put it also in /etc/envorenment)
update kde config database
$> kbuildsycoca4

Same problem here. I am new to kdevelop 4 and i am trying to open an existing qmake based project. I get the same error.

Hi Mamuso, can you please explain in detail how to get it working.

Cheers

Ok, I'll explain my specific case.
I use Kubuntu Karmic Koala.
I had Kdevelop4 installed by building it from source using the instructions in kdevelop4 official web.
But I misstyped the KDEDIRS environment variable, so the problem has been solved by recalling kbuildsycoca4 with the right KDEDIRS. As I rebuild often with the latest svn version, I've also add an entry in /etc/environment for KDEDIRS.

Try this, to see if it works for you too:
$> export KDEDIRS=/usr/local:/usr
$> kbuildsycoca4
