in enlightenment, when you minimize a program, where does it go? I see that you can click somewhere that there is no program, and choose "windows" and it lists your app's, but does the enlightenment have a "task bar"? it's kind of tedious to multi-task.

i have not used enlightenment in a long long time, but when you minimize an app it does seem to disapear from view, i suggest you try rightclick on the desktop for a menu and middleclick on the desktop for another menu and leftclick on the desktop for still another menu, lots of window managers use this menu scheme rather than a task bar, some have an iconbox...
lol randux your right. I gave up on blackbox and moved over to flux becuase it gives the taskbar and icons.
I just tried enlightenment today, and honestly I can't forsee myself getting in to it. It's just awefully combersome to me to have to find my miniminzed/iconified programs by right click, etc. The enlightenment is however extremely responsive to clicks, right clicks, etc on an old pc, I just think that I'll spend too much time navigating menu's. flux is so easy to add stuff to the menu's i think i stick with that.
I'll stick with flux. Now I lay in hope that someone answers my other thread on how to get more than one icon on my desktop in idesk on flux
