Enabling kcmshell modules in KDE Control Center

I need help with a couple of kcmshell modules I got from Slackbuilds. I installed KDM and gtk-qt-engine but they don't show up when I run KDE Control Center; any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. I'm running -current with KDE 3.5.7

I am not sure what you mean by KDM (KDM itself is in Slackware (its the Kde Login Daemon). If you mean the kdmtheme.SlackBuild .. after running the script and installing the package. the kcmshell module should appear under under "System Administration". As for GTK-QT .. thats a GTK engine if I remember correctly. Being that it will not show up under de KDE Control Center (afaik).

And having all said and done. Do remember that the SlackBuilds are hosted for the stable version of 11.0. Being the changes in -current, can you check that you compiled KDMTheme correctly (aka with a --prefix=/usr instead of /opt/kde) ?

I thought the module kdmtheme would show up in KCC, but since I rediscovered how to manually edit kdmrc, it's all good. Did as you said and used the /usr prefix. Still would like to get gtk-qt-engine up and running so I can try to beautify Firefox and Thunderbird, if possible. They're uglier than crap in Slackware.

hmm it works for me. After install kdmtheme .. I open up K Control Center .. it's under "system Administration" just above 'login manager'or just run it from the shell

$ kcmshell module kdmtheme
