Easy Firewall Generator and WIFI


Will the Easy Firewall Generator with INET_IFACE="eth0" protect a WIFI connection using wlan0?

Thanks for any help.

No, it will not, use "+" instead to cover all interfaces.

Thanks. That solved my problem. The "help" led me to believe that I could only enter eth0, eth1, eth+, or ppp0 etc.

I had to google for help on entering the correct conntrack commands in the rc.firewall file. The state match was obsolete. It seems to work without errors now.
