Do I need a boot disk for 1st Slack Install?

Reading this slackware.org/install/bootdisk.php it says I need a bootdisk. I have burned the ISO to cds. Will this boot the machine for me?

you would only need a boot disk if your computer can't boot from cd rom.

If they are like the ones that can be bought...ie 2 disk set,NO you dont need a boot disk.Mine booted from CD directly. As long as you burned the first one as bootable I believe you will be ok.If not,you can make one with the tools on the cd..use rawrite and make a bootdisk and an image disk, see the docs on the disk one.Image disk is under "rootdisks" it needs rawrite as well. You end up with a 2 floppy set.
