As the title says, a digikam build ends with these lines.
Code:
/usr/lib/libopencv_highgui.so.2.4.11: undefined reference to `av_malloc@LIBAVUTIL_52'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [extra/libkface/tests/align] Error 1

I removed the old digikam build. I read the README file, kipi-plugins are not installed.
Now for the long story. I was updating my 32 bit system. I put the recent patches on, updated the .alien apps I have installed, and then I updated the rest of the .SBo programs I have installed. I usually leave digikam to the last, since it takes the longest time to build. I used the gui version of sbopkg to do the updates. All went well, including digikam. Yes, it installed, and I tested it with my camera. All was well.
I also have a netbook, with an n450 processor, and 1 gig of ram. Digikam will not build on that system. I use my main desktops 32 bit 14.1 system to build digikam, and usually opencv. I copy the binary install file over, and install on the netbook. Yesterday I forgot to copy digikam from /tmp before I boot the system. Dumb, I know.
Today I tried to build digikam again on the same system. It has failed with the above error messages and will not build.
I found two threads with similar conditions and error messages here, the advice is to remove the previous version of digikam, and make sure kipi-plugins are not installed. I did both.
How do I go about resolving the errors, and get digikam to build?
This all happened with stock kde installed. I have since install aliens kde version 4.14.3. Digikam still won't build.
