development/jdk insecure SlackBuild script and source 32bit compressed file ?

Hi,

The .info file for development/jdk SlackBuild script say:

MD5SUM="fc0241e1a3e243602698ac700abc94e9"

The same information in it web page:

http://slackbuilds.org/repository/14.0/development/jdk/

But when I try to install it ( with 'sbopkg -i jdk' ), I get:

jdk:
Found jdk-7u21-linux-i586.tar.gz in /var/cache/sbopkg.
Checking MD5SUM:
MD5SUM check for jdk-7u21-linux-i586.tar.gz ... FAILED!
Expected: fc0241e1a3e243602698ac700abc94e9
Found: 81ee08846975d4b8d46acf3b6eddf103

The development/jdk SlackBuild script is bad ?

Thanks.

Probably more of a SBo problem than Slackware, per se. Perhaps you can contact the maintainer of that slackbuild about it?

Also, have you used the more generic java.SlackBuild (in slackware-14.0/extra/java)?

The link provided in the .info leads to the page http://download.oracle.com/errors/do...l-1505220.html which is downloaded by sbopkg instead of the jdk. To summarize, the jdk can no longer be downloaded using the direct link given at slackbuilds.org. Now, you have to follow this link, accept the license, and download the version you want within 30 minutes.

Greetings.

From the rot26 encrypted README included with the SlackBuild.

You must Agree to Oracle's download agreement before this can be downloaded.
This means you have to use a web browser to download it. Sorry wget folks.

Yes, but for that, I alredy download the file manually from Oracle website. And, following README instructions of java.SlackBuild I installed it fine and work roght.

The java.SlackBuild is not automatic.

Thanks.
