daulboot problem

im try to get slack to dualboot with win2k.

firstly i installed win2k then installed slack. i have the slack installation over 3 partitions (/boot, /, and /swap) i have one windows partition and one partition for data. my windows partition is the only primary partition and is the only one that is bootable, the rest are logical.

everything installs fine within slackware and when i reboot the lilo menu appears when i try to boot slack i get an error 'kernel panic no init found, try passing init option to kernel.'

i tried to install lilo in the 'safe mode' where it installs itself automatically i have also installed via expert mode and the config to me seems correct. i installed lilo to the mbr.

any ideas how i've gone wrong?

cheers.

Please post your lilo config and fstab. I think you didn't set your root= correctly.

Booting off a rescue or live disk/cd , mount the slackware / partition to a /mnt/point will make these files available.
